Which cameras work with joy.cam?
Webcams, phones and tablets, most IP cameras (Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, Tapo, Uniview, Axis, Foscam and more) and anything you can show on a screen, like the Ring or Nest app.
Do I need to install anything?
Usually not. Webcams, phones, screens and many IP cameras connect from the browser or the camera's own settings. For cameras that only work on your local network there is the small joy.cam Bridge app.
Does it record all day?
No. It looks when something moves where you told it to watch, and keeps the photo and a short clip of the moments your rules catch, for as many days as your plan keeps them.
How do I get the alerts?
As a notification on your phone or computer, in Telegram, by email, by text message or a phone call. Each rule picks its own way, and the camera can even say something out loud.
Which languages does it understand?
Write your rules in English, Russian or Armenian. Alerts and the whole app come in your language.
Is my video private?
Pictures are checked only when something moves in the areas you choose, and you can delete any alert at any time. When you use the Bridge, your camera passwords never leave your network. With precise checks on, the picture being checked also goes to TypeSafe, the company behind our Jev AI, for that check.
